Description: Depuis le 1erjanvier 2017, la réglementation interdit l’usage de produits phytosanitaires sur l’espace public. Avant cette date, des communes de la métropole ont déjà instauré le désherbage en Zérophyto sur leurs espaces minéralisés. Sur la ville de Montpellier, depuis 2008, les pieds d’arbre sont fauchés une fois par an (sauf dans les secteurs sensibles où 2 à 3 passages sont réalisés). En 2016, différents modes de désherbage des espaces minéralisés ont été testés : thermique, eau chaude, vinaigre blanc, mécanique,… sans montrer d’efficacité probante.Aujourd’hui, le désherbage se fait majoritairement à l’aide de rotofils. Le contrat de nettoiement prévoit 2 passages minimum par an.Il est proposé de mettre en place 4 niveaux de désherbage selon la typologie des voies (le centre historique piéton est en niveau Maxi = en tant que de besoin) :Niveau D4 : 4 passages minimum par an (mars/avril, mai, juin et septembre)Niveau D3 : 3 passages minimum par an (mars/avril, mai et juin)Niveau D2 : 2 passages minimum par an (mars/avril et juin)Niveau D1 : 1 passage minimum par an (mars/avril)
